Kaza Vazia?

Kaza Vazia – “roving art gallery” never has a headquarters, a gallery, or a shed. On top of its 5 years of age, he held various spaces that are abandoned shortly thereafter. Its projects are always temporary occupations articulated with artistic residencies. Appropriation of abandoned houses (kv I, II and V), shops (kv III), housing (kv IV), public roads (kv VI) public parks (kv VII), municipal markets (kv VII) houses already occupied (kv 8), private apartments (kv 613), illegal settlements and communities of families (kv X). These spaces, regarded as suitable for the art production / reflection / show, become a reference center for local dynamics incorporation in artistic processes, be they trade, dumping, abandonment, invasion movements, struggles of social movements or Sunday stroll. Thus, it is difficult to define a specific nature of Kaza, than roaming, constant movement and being formed with changing elements to be rearranged for each occupation.
